Ministry of Investment to Host Public Information Session on the Jaber Border Crossing PPP Project
Amman – The Ministry of Investment will host a public information session on the Jaber Border Crossing (JBC) Project, a strategic infrastructure initiative that will be implemented under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework.
The session will provide an overview of the project's main components, which will include the development, modernization, financing, operation, and maintenance of the Jaber Border Crossing. The project is expected to enhance the efficiency of passenger and freight movements, improve the quality of border services, strengthen operational performance, and reinforce Jordan's position as a regional logistics and trade hub.
The session will also cover the project's strategic objectives, technical and operational aspects, the proposed PPP structure and investment framework, the ongoing Request for Qualification (RFQ) process, as well as the project roadmap and upcoming milestones.
The Ministry invites stakeholders, investors, and industry professionals to participate in the virtual session, which will be held on Monday, 6 July 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM (Amman time).
