Pursuant to applicable PPP laws and regulations of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and with reference to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Supply, Operation and Maintenance of Automated Fare Collection System and Intelligent Transportation Systems for the Integrated Amman-Zarqa Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) System, previously issued by the Ministry of Investment (MoIN) on September 22, 2025, the Ministry hereby announces the cancellation of the said RFQ.
This decision has been taken in the interest of ensuring a competitive bidding process. Consequently, all procedures related to this RFQ, including submission deadlines, evaluation processes, and any related activities, are hereby terminated and declared null and void.
The Ministry of Investment confirms that it intends to re-tender the project and that a new RFQ will be issued. Updated documentation and a new procurement timetable will be made available through the official channels of the Ministry and the PPP unit.
All interested bidders are urged to monitor the Ministry’s official communications for further announcements regarding the re-tendering of this project.
The Ministry expresses its appreciation to all parties that have shown interest or participated in the initial RFQ process and regrets any inconvenience resulting from this cancellation.
